Yes. Luggage Forward is not limited to travelers. Anyone can book a shipment regardless of whether they are personally making a trip. If you have bags, equipment, or personal items that need to move from one location to another, Luggage Forward can arrange it.
Common reasons clients ship without traveling
- Sending items ahead — Ship belongings to a destination in advance of your own arrival, or on behalf of someone else entirely.
- Returning items home — Arrange for bags or equipment to be picked up from a destination and delivered back to your home without making the return journey yourself.
- Relocation — Ship personal items, clothing, or sporting equipment to a new home or second residence.
- Sports and equipment shipping — Ship golf bags, ski equipment, or other gear to a destination ahead of an event or trip, with or without traveling alongside it.
What to keep in mind
In some cases, we cannot ship items internationally without a corresponding travel itinerary. Additionally, we cannot send new (tags-on) or high value items internationally. Please reach out to use if you have additional questions.
Someone must be present at the origin address at the time of scheduled pickup, or bags must be left in an agreed, secure location for the carrier to collect. Similarly, someone should be available to receive the shipment at the delivery address, or delivery instructions should be provided. Requirements for customs clearance are proprietary and based on the import country, so cannot be discussed until after a booking is made.
