While luggage is our most common shipment type, Luggage Forward ships a wide range of personal items and equipment. If you can pack it safely and it meets carrier size, weight, and content requirements, we can likely ship it.
What We Ship
Luggage Forward regularly ships luggage and bags of all sizes, golf clubs and golf travel bags, ski and snowboard equipment, sports and recreational equipment, boxes and care packages, personal effects, and household items.
Packaging Requirements
All items must be properly packed and protected for transit. Luggage should be in good condition and fully closeable. Sports equipment and fragile items should be packed to withstand standard carrier handling.
You may use a suitcase, duffel, sports case, or a new, sturdy box. Boxes should be securely sealed, reinforced at the seams, and free of old shipping labels. Mobility aids, such as a rollator, may be shipped if properly packed, often in the original retail box.
Size and Weight Limits
Size and weight limits vary by service, route, and item type. Most services allow pieces up to 75 pounds, but some shipment types may have lower limits. Oversized items may be restricted or require a different service level.
If an item exceeds carrier maximums and cannot be repacked into smaller pieces, we may not be able to ship it. To confirm whether your item qualifies, please contact us with the item’s dimensions and weight before booking.
Items That Cannot Be Shipped
Certain items are classified as Disallowed Goods and cannot be accepted regardless of packaging or declared value. Shipping disallowed goods voids both Value Protection and the Double Money-Back Guarantee.
Disallowed items include hazardous materials, explosives, flammable items, pressurized aerosols, cash, certain valuables, firearms, ammunition, bows and arrows, and certain related sporting or hunting equipment.
We recommend reviewing the Disallowed Goods list before booking if you have any questions about the contents of your shipment.
