What delivery date should I choose?
We recommend selecting a delivery date that is at least one to two days before you need your bags. This provides a comfortable buffer for any unforeseen delays and ensures your luggage is waiting for you upon arrival rather than the other way around.
Arriving at a hotel or resort
Most hotels and resorts are experienced in receiving guest luggage in advance and will hold your bags securely until you check in. We recommend confirming with your property that they are able to accept early deliveries, and noting your check-in date in the delivery instructions when booking. Selecting a delivery date one to two days before your arrival date works well for most hotel shipments.
Arriving at a private residence or vacation rental
If your destination is a private residence or vacation rental, your delivery date should align with a time when someone will be present to receive the shipment. If that is not possible, please contact our Client Experience Team before booking so we can advise on the best approach for your destination.
International shipments
For international destinations, we recommend allowing additional buffer — ideally two to three days before you need your bags. Customs clearance timelines can vary, and a wider window ensures a relaxed arrival regardless of what occurs in transit.
Peak travel periods
During major holidays and high-demand travel seasons, selecting a delivery date with extra lead time is advisable. Increased shipment volumes during these periods can affect transit times across the industry.
