Luggage Forward is a door-to-door shipping service and does not offer standalone luggage storage. However, there are several flexible options available to accommodate your schedule if you are unable to be present for pickup or delivery.
Holding Your Luggage Before Delivery
In some locations, we may be able to hold your bags for a short period before final delivery. This can be helpful if your arrival plans change or you need additional time before receiving your shipment.
Please note:
- Storage holds are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
- Additional per-bag fees may apply.
- Hold requests should be made as early as possible.
- Extended or indefinite storage is not available.
In some cases, we may also be able to delay the release of a shipment to better align delivery with your travel schedule. Availability depends on the route, destination, and carrier capabilities.

If You Cannot Be Home for Pickup
Many clients choose not to be present for pickup. Your bags can be left in a secure location, such as a doorstep, garage, front desk, or with a building concierge, for the carrier to collect. Please include any relevant access instructions in your booking details.
If You Cannot Be Home for Delivery
If you will not be at your delivery address when your bags are scheduled to arrive, we recommend having them delivered to a trusted neighbor, hotel, workplace, concierge, or local business that can securely receive and hold them until you return.
If you are using a hotel or other third-party location, we recommend confirming in advance that they are willing to accept and store your luggage and whether any fees may apply.
Carrier hold-for-pickup services may be available in limited circumstances, but availability varies by location and carrier and cannot be guaranteed.
Drop-Off Option
If you prefer not to wait for a scheduled pickup, dropping off your bags may be available as an alternative. Contact our Client Experience Team to discuss whether this option is available for your location and route.
