Luggage Forward is a door-to-door shipping service and does not offer standalone luggage storage. However, there are several flexible options available to accommodate your schedule if you are unable to be present for pickup or delivery.
Holding your luggage before delivery
In most locations, we are able to hold your bags for a few additional days before attempting final delivery. This can be a helpful option if your arrival plans shift or you need more time before taking delivery. Please note that an additional per-bag fee may apply, and this service is subject to availability, it is not guaranteed in all locations.
Storage holds cannot be arranged online. To add this to an existing booking, please contact our Client Experience Team at +1 617-482-1100 or support@luggageforward.com.
If you cannot be home for pickup
Many clients choose not to be present for pickup. Your bags can be left in a secure location — such as a doorstep, garage, or with a building concierge — for the carrier to collect. Please include any relevant access instructions in your booking details.
If you cannot be home for delivery
If you will not be at your delivery address when your bags are scheduled to arrive, we recommend having them delivered to a trusted neighbor or a local business that can hold them until you return. This can be arranged by updating your delivery instructions or contacting our Client Experience Team.
Drop-off option
If you prefer not to wait for a scheduled pickup, dropping off your bags may be available as an alternative. Contact our Client Experience Team to discuss whether this option is available for your location and route.
