Packing Guide

Preparing your Luggage

Your trip is right around the corner and it is time to prepare your luggage for shipment. Before packing your luggage, we recommend reviewing our How to Pack video:

Shipping a Golf or Ski bag?

Please review our Golf Bag packing video here or our Ski/Snowboard packing video here.

Please note, it is important that you:

  • Start with a sturdy suitcase
  • Avoid overpacking
  • Wrap any loose items with proper cushioning materials
  • Avoid packing any disallowed goods
  • Remove any old labels from previous shipments or flights from your bag

Shipping Guidelines

  • Electronics that must be plugged in to use (Ex: Blow dryer) can be shipped. Electronics powered with a lithium battery (Ex: iPad) can not be shipped
  • Due to the battery, tracking devices (AirTags, Tile, etc.) are strictly prohibited. However, Luggage Forward provides live tracking within your account.
  • Luggage Forward will provide you with zip-ties within your shipping kit to secure your luggage. Locking your luggage (Including TSA-approved locks) internationally is prohibited and will result in customs delays.
  • Remove any price tags from your garments & accessories before packing. This will reduce the possibility of duties and taxes being applied to your personal items.
